Questions,
answered plainly.
How long does shipping take?
Every kettle ships within one week of ordering. Domestic orders arrive in 3–5 business days after that; international timing depends on customs and is shown at checkout.
Is the dial really accurate without electronics?
Within about a degree Celsius, yes. Bimetallic thermostats are what most kettles used before digital displays became a marketing feature rather than a precision improvement — the mechanism itself hasn't gotten less accurate.
Can I descale it?
Yes — run a 1:3 white vinegar and water solution through a full heat cycle every few months if you're in a hard-water area. The steel body and copper dial ring both tolerate it fine.
What does the two-year warranty cover?
The element, thermostat, and gasket — the three parts that wear. If one fails from normal use inside two years, we send a replacement part and a written fix, not a full kettle replacement.
Do you sell a version without the wooden handle?
Not currently. The walnut is sealed for steam exposure and mounted on a heat-isolating bracket, so it's part of the design rather than a swappable option.
Where is it made?
Assembled in a small workshop from steel and thermostat components sourced within the same region, and walnut milled in-house from offcuts of a local furniture maker.
